Also note that the software places a cookie, a text file containing bits of information (such as your username and password), in your browser's cache. This is ONLY used to keep you logged in/out. The software does not collect or send any other form of information to your computer.

Once you've registered, you may customize the settings of your profile to include avatars, signatures (please review the rules posting regarding signature banners), to receive or not receive notifications of replies to posts and private messages. **HOWEVER**, receiving Admin and Staff Announcements is **required** and **not** an option for disabling. On the plus side, JTLFF does not post frequent Member-wide announcements. Generally, announcement notifications are restricted to story updates, and usually only the first announcement is sent Member-wide; the rest are consolidated within the post. Other announcements may include board rule changes and contest notifications.

Agreeing to the JTLFF Registration authorizes us to send notification emails when deemed appropriate by JTLFF Staff. If you register a "Spam Complaint" with your server or with the JTLFF server, **your JTLFF Membership WILL BE REVOKED WITHOUT WARNING**. If you register a "Spam Complaint" with your server or the JTLFF server a *second* time, **YOU WILL BE BANNED FROM JTLFF**.

Naturally, you may choose to instantly delete and/or add JTLFF Announcements to your junk mail folder; don't come whining to us about updates then; your membership will likely be revoked. Don't register with a bogus email address; your membership **will** be revoked; Members with "bounced back" emails **WILL BE DELETED FROM JTLFF**.
