The tips of Tyler's ears turned pink, but he met her inquiring gaze directly and held it. "You turn me on, Chelsea," he said bluntly. Chelsea's mouth opened in a silent O. He couldn't possibly have said what she thought she heard him say. "You turn me on," Tyler repeated, "and so I can just about guarantee that I will get hard." "Hard?" she echoed him not because she didn't know what he was referring to but because she couldn't believe her ears. She made Ty Benson hard? The pink spread from his ears to his jawline, and a muscle ticked in his temple. "An erection, okay? My dick will get hard and you will feel my erection. Does that clarify things for you?" ~ from TORN, Sample Chapters (1.2MB) $5.99 2CheckOut.com Inc. (Ohio, USA) is an authorized retailer for goods and services provided by Krysia's Web Books. |
Hollywood leading man Tyler Benson has finally found the perfect mate.
Smart, passionate, funny, sexy as hell, and with a kiss that sets off more fireworks than the paparazzi on the red carpet, Chelsea Morgan is everything Ty's always wanted. Every touch, every kiss, the couple share is magic -- movie magic, that is -- since the small town mother of two found herself dropped into the role of his onscreen wife.
Unfortunately the sparks don't stop flying just because the film stops rolling. Soon Ty and Chelsea find their fictional roles bleeding into their normal lives, and both find it all too easy to imagine a home together as a real family.
But it's hard to find a classic Hollywood ending for an ill-timed romance when the role of "spouse" has already been filled...
by Chelsea's husband.
I just read your new chapters. Yay! They were definitely worth the wait.
Heehee...I have a few thoughts. You captured the tenseness between Tyler and Jake quite well as they stood outside Chelsea's hospital room. These two aren't going to be friends any time soon (obviously), but I always find verbal sparring to be so much more interesting than physical sparring. It makes sense that they would move from one type of fighting to another. Also, the responses they gave each other were quite good. You're so much better at writing men than I am.
It rang very true that from a perspective of thirteen years later, Chelsea could look back on her relationship with Jake and realize that she wasn't what he was looking for. There's that old adage that hindsight is 20/20.
Dinner with the in-laws...how cute was Jake's dad? He just didn't get it; how like a man. Jake's mother, on the other hand, knew. See, women really do have a sense about these things.
Can't wait to read more, but I'm getting worried that the story will be over soon. :(

I took your advice Krysia and started reading Torn. Wow what a good story. Ch. 7 is one of the most descrpitive hot smut going. I'm loving this story. I was feeling sorry for Jake by the 1st chapter. I hate that I have to get up so early in the morning and stop reading. This story is a great read.
